Our Story

From a Workshop in Istanbul
to Brainport Eindhoven

ELiAR started the way the best engineering companies do: a group of friends with a problem to solve. In 1984, five university classmates began building Turkey's first domestically designed industrial automation systems — starting with glass factories, then expanding into textile dyeing, mechatronics, and chemical dosing.

Today, ELiAR's sensors and automation systems operate in 45+ countries, designed by an 80-strong engineering team across Istanbul and the Brainport Industries Campus in the Netherlands.
